Heat treatment

Our large-capacity vacuum furnace decontaminates the parts completely for a perfectly clean result.

Molybdenum parts are cleaned by ultrasound, chemically decontaminated and then placed in a degassing furnace for 24 hours at a controlled temperature to eliminate all remaining impurities (BMI 600 mm³ furnace producing a 10–6 mbar secondary vacuum and reaching a maximum temperature of 1200°C).

At the end of this process, the parts emerge from the furnace into a class 10,000 clean room where they are:

  • nitrogen vacuum packed
  • stored in the clean room

The parts are 100% clean and remain so until they are unpacked in the customer’s clean room.
